Migrating from Stocky.
Import your thresholds by CSV before Stocky shuts down on August 31, 2026 - what carries over and what does not.
The Stocky shutdown
Shopify is shutting Stocky down. It was removed from the App Store in February 2026 and stops working on August 31, 2026. If you relied on Stocky mainly for its low-stock email, StockAlert covers that low-stock and out-of-stock alerting piece.
One thing to be clear about: StockAlert is an alerting tool, not a purchase-order or demand-forecasting replacement. If you also used those parts of Stocky, you will want a separate inventory-planning tool for them.
Importing your thresholds
Export your low-stock report from Stocky as a CSV, drop it into StockAlert's bulk-thresholds screen, confirm the column mapping, and save. Alerts start firing on those SKUs immediately.
What does and does not carry over
StockAlert imports your SKUs and thresholds, which is what it needs to start alerting. Suppliers and historical purchase orders do not carry over - and that is true of every Stocky alternative, not just StockAlert, because Stocky cannot export that data at all.
