1. Who we are
This privacy policy covers the apps published by Noomua. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@noomua.com.
2. What information we collect
When you install one of our apps from the Shopify App Store, we collect the information needed to provide the app's functionality:
- Your Shopify store URL and merchant email address, as provided by Shopify during installation.
- Product data from your store - including titles, descriptions, images, and inventory levels - to the extent required by the specific app you installed.
- App usage data, such as which features are used and how often, to help us understand and improve the product.
We do not collect personal data from your customers. We do not collect payment information - billing for paid plans is handled entirely by Shopify.
Each app collects and stores data differently depending on its purpose. For the exact data practices of a specific app, see its own privacy page: each app page on noomua.com links to a dedicated privacy policy that describes precisely what that app reads, stores, and shares.
3. How we use your information
- To provide app functionality. Product data is processed to power features like listing generation, stock monitoring, or page scoring.
- To send transactional notifications. If you enable alerts (e.g. StockAlert email digests), we use your email to deliver those notifications.
- To improve our apps. Usage patterns help us understand what works and what to build next. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
4. Website analytics
The noomua.com website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic - page views, referral sources, and general usage patterns. Analytics cookies load only after you consent via the cookie banner that appears on your first visit (Google Consent Mode v2). If you decline, no analytics data is collected. This analytics is limited to the website itself and is not connected to any app data. It is not used for advertising.
5. Third-party services
Our apps and website are built on top of the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Shopify - App installation, authentication, and billing are handled through the Shopify platform.
- Supabase - We use Supabase as our database provider to store app data securely.
- Anthropic - Some apps (Listify AI and StoreMD) send product data - such as titles, descriptions, tags, and images - to the Anthropic Claude API to generate or score content. This data is processed by Anthropic under its own privacy policy.
- Meshy AI - Viewly3D sends product images to Meshy AI to generate 3D models. This data is processed by Meshy AI under its own privacy policy.
- Resend - StockAlert uses Resend to deliver transactional email notifications such as low-stock alerts and daily digests.
- Google Analytics - We use Google Analytics 4 for website traffic analytics on noomua.com, loaded only with visitor consent (see section 4).
- Fly.io - Our app backends are hosted on Fly.io.
We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your app subscription is active. When you uninstall an app, your Shopify access token is immediately invalidated. Your remaining store data is permanently and irreversibly erased when Shopify fires the shop/redact webhook, which typically arrives within 48 hours of uninstall. You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@noomua.com.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@noomua.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps or practices change. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
