2. What information we collect
When you install one of our apps from the Shopify App Store, we collect the information needed to provide the app's functionality:
- Your Shopify store URL and merchant email address, as provided by Shopify during installation.
- Product data from your store — including titles, descriptions, images, and inventory levels — to the extent required by the specific app you installed.
- App usage data, such as which features are used and how often, to help us understand and improve the product.
We do not collect personal data from your customers. We do not collect payment information — billing for paid plans is handled entirely by Shopify.
3. How we use your information
- To provide app functionality. Product data is processed to power features like listing generation, stock monitoring, or page scoring.
- To send transactional notifications. If you enable alerts (e.g. StockAlert email digests), we use your email to deliver those notifications.
- To improve our apps. Usage patterns help us understand what works and what to build next. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
4. Third-party services
Our apps are built on top of the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Shopify — App installation, authentication, and billing are handled through the Shopify platform.
- Supabase — We use Supabase as our database provider to store app data securely.
- Resend — We use Resend to deliver transactional email notifications (such as StockAlert digests).
We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your app subscription is active. When you uninstall an app, your store data is deleted from our systems within 30 days. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us at hello@noomua.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@noomua.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps or practices change. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
