how to set up viewly3d.
Setup is three real steps: add a model, add the viewer block to your theme, and you are live. The theme block is the one step people forget, so it is called out below.
Add Viewly3D from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin.
Open a product in Viewly3D and either upload a GLB file or generate a model from one to four product photos. Generated models take a couple of minutes and use one credit; a failed generation is refunded automatically.
This is the step people miss. In Shopify go to Online Store, then Themes, then Customize. Open a product page, click Add block, search for "View in 3D", add it, and save. You only do this once - it then shows on every product that has a model.
Open any product page that has a model. You should see the 3D viewer, with rotate, zoom, and an AR option on mobile. That is it - add models to as many products as your plan allows.
